TSAW DRONES Making Major Investments on Aircraft
In order to take advantage of the drone rules that provided a wealth of potential for companies in this industry, TSAW DRONES was founded in 2019. According to Kishan Tiwari, co-founder, and CEO of the business, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) approved about seven consortiums to test and use drones in the country. We started making white-label offerings to three of those consortiums consisting of large companies. “We started building drones and using them to transport packages and deliver medications over distances of up to 10 kilometers”.
In order to make deliveries to these hubs, the TSAW Drone startup is now putting up drone hubs. The business completes the delivery by using ground mobility, such as motorcycles, for the final mile. For Tata 1mg in Kolkata, we have been using this approach to collect and send blood samples for testing. It is also environmentally friendly because we can use electric drives all along the road, according to Tiwari. He notes that without drones, it takes samples over six hours to go to the lab and it takes the patient 12 to 18 hours to receive the final report.
Nizamabad, Telangana, is also serviced by TSAW Drones over a live route. According to Tiwari, “We are preparing to work with ONDC to do deliveries in remote regions.” Tiwari and the team have developed a software stack system called drone cloud intelligence system with R&D at its core.
TSAW Drones creates its own drones and innovates to increase the effectiveness and economy of flights. The speaker states, “We are in talks for an agreement to mass develop these drones so that we have total control over the manufacturing line”.
With its per-flight pricing model, the drone firm has been able to lower both capex and opex for its customers. In the upcoming years, we will further reduce it by half, claims Tiwari. IIT Delhi is the incubator for TSAW Drones. He says, the firm has rised 2.9 crore from Log9 Materials, Zypp Electric, Chandigarh Angel Network, and We Founder Circle, the firm has raised Rs 2.9 crore. We’ve been working on this for eight years, and we’re in a good position to combine all these sectors for a robust supply chain and ecology.
