T-Hub, UberEXCHANGE invite applications
Hyderabad-based technology incubator T-Hub has opened registration inviting startups to be part of the UberEXCHANGE Program in Silicon Valley. The entries for application closes on 2nd December 2016 and the results would be announced by December 2016. The select top 10 would travel to San Francisco in February 2017.
The jury will select 20 startups from the list of applications received, followed by another round of screening where the final 10 startups would be selected. These selected startups will also get an opportunity to interact with global investors, fellow entrepreneurs and the Uber leadership team. The startups will also receive a nominal stipend from Uber for upto two people per startup to facilitate their stay in the Valley.
Jay Krishnan, CEO, T-Hub says, “We introduced the T-Bridge initiative a couple of months back to make programs like UberEXCHANGE accessible to Indian startups. With this strategic partnership with Uber, we are co- creating a global platform for select startups with a high innovation quotient to be showcased and scaled.”
This initiative is designed to help the entrepreneurs navigate the growth path through knowledge sharing, access to right tools, visibility, and market reach. Khaitan & Co has also agreed to facilitate 20 hours of free legal counseling for startups selected through this program.
