Now TicketGoose goes cashless
Ever since demonetisation of Rs.500, Rs.1000 currency notes, many eCommerce and online transaction platforms are trying to keep up the wave by going cashless. Now, online bus ticket booking platform TicketGoose has join the trend. They have partnered with Paytm to enable their agents to accept payment from customers through Paytm wallet at the agent counters.
According to a company statement, “TicketGoose.com has associated with more than 10000+ agents to book tickets through its portal. More than 60% tickets are booked through agent/vendor outlets, with cash or card as the primary mode of payment for the customers. Now owing to the ban of Rs.500 & Rs.1000 currency notes, customers are facing a challenge to pay cash at the agent outlet to buy bus tickets.”
On speaking about this partnership, Vasudevan Ramasamy, Director, TicketGoose.com said, “Agents form a crucial part of the online booking segment. We think there is a huge responsibility on our part in this time of change to help our agents and customers transition into cashless payments. We look forward to launch other initiatives in the months ahead that will enable smart bus travel.”
The service is in effect from 14th November at all their agent/vendor outlets.
