More drama to Tata-Mistry spat; three top executives to quit
Adding more fury to the ongoing Tata-Mistry spat, three senior group executives at Tata Sons have resigned, according to a report on Reuters. N.S. Rajan; group business development and public affairs head Madhu Kannan; and group strategy executive Nirmalya Kumar are the executive who has reportedly submitted their resignation.
Earlier, this week there were reports that two council executives, Mukund Rajan and Harish Bhat, would take on senior level responsibilities within the Tata group. Over the past few days, disagreement between Mistry and his predecessor Ratan Tata have transferred from the boardroom to public with leaked letters and tit-for-tat accusations making it uglier.
There was also report that Darius Khambatta, a senior lawyer close to both Tata and Mistry, had initiated mediation talks between the two parties. However, when chirped about this, Khambatta denied mediation talks.
