Mobile-first discovery platform Scandid acquires hyperlocal startup Snabar
Pune-based mobile-first savings discovery platform Scandid has acquired hyperlocal startup Snabar for an undisclosed deal amount. Snabar bridges the gap between online and offline shopping by connecting buyers and seller through their hyper-local eCommerce platform. The have a vast variety of products ranging from electronics, home and furniture products to accessories, children’s products and apparel for men and women.
Scandid offers digital shopping assistant to customers through price comparisons, product discovery across various retailers. Scandid recently secured its Pre-Series A funding from a variety of sources including Mohandas Pai and Micromax. Prior to this, Scandid had also raised funding from Silicon Valley-based investors in 2015.
