Juno Clinic providing much needed help and awareness in mental health

Juno Clinic, one of the startups in healthcare industry, provides easy access to millions suffering from mental ailments who have no one to talk to. While it will take a long time before mental health gains acceptance and as much importance as physical ailments, Juno Clinic is helping patients deal with their mental affliction in a way that will help them to seek therapy but avoid social stigma. Founded in 2016 by Arun Kumar, Anuraag Srivastava, and Manocha, it identifies itself as a healthcare company providing counseling and treatment of psychological and psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, relationship counseling, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), addiction, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and sexual dysfunction.

Davesh Manocha, co-founder of Juno, explained that “I have heard cases where people try to find a psychologist as far away as possible to avoid running into someone they know. We thought we will create a niche for ourselves in the behavioral stage, especially because it is one of the very few therapeutic areas where the complete delivery cycle can be online – right from the time you book a session to the time counseling is provided. That was the vision we had. Also, it is convenient if you can take sessions online, it saves your time and travel”. The startup is not a marketplace platform, but employs its own staff of therapists and counselors.
