Global Mobile Challenge 2016 semi-final applications are open
The semi-final round of the Global Mobile Challenge 2016 competition will take place in Hyderabad on December 9-10, 2016. The event is hosted by Hyderabad-based venture capital and private equity firm, Anthill Ventures in association with Hyderabad-based startup engine T-Hub.
Launched in 2013 in the Middle East, Global Mobile Challenge is a mobile solutions competition that involves more than over 20,000 young professionals and university students from around the world. It covers over 60 countries and holds six regional finals — in Europe, the Middle East, Eurasia, Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
To join the competition, participants must create a mobile app or a game that can be used on Android and is available for download on Google Play Store.
The semi-final round will be held in 10 Asia-Pacific countries. Contestants will have a pitching session in front of the board of judges, who will select Asia-Pacific regional final contestants. The regional final will be held in Singapore in January. In February, finalists will go to Barcelona for the Global Mobile Challenge grand final.
