FoodCloud Inducted into Startup India Program

FoodCloud, an online portal connecting foodies with home chefs and catering in Delhi-NCR has been inducted into the Start Up India Programme by the Government of India and Ministry of Commerce & Industry. They have been issued a Certificate of Recognition by the Department of Industrial Promotion and Policy as a start up.

The Start Up India programme was officially launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in January of this year. This initiative aims at fostering entrepreneurship and promoting innovation by creating an ecosystem that is conducive for the growth of Start-ups. The objective is that India must become a nation of job creators instead of being a nation of job seekers. It is a great achievement to be recognized within this programme and is a vote of confidence in our company.

“We are excited to be inducted into the Start Up India Programme and hope to use this recognition to build our company to great heights. We applaud the Governments interest in Start Ups as they are the backbone of a country such as ours and we hope to do our bit in whatever way we can.” said Vedant Kanoi, Co Founder, FoodCloud in a press note.
