Dubbing Platform Dubdub.ai Raises Investment of $1 Million
Waveform Ventures and Accel Atoms have invested $1 million in a dubbing platform Dubdub.ai powered by AI.
The additional funding will assist the startup in strengthening its technical staff and validating a number of use cases for international clients.
Dubdub.ai, which enables audio and video dubbing in more than 50 languages, was founded in August 2021 by Anubhav Singh, Rahul Sankhwar, Rahul Garg, and Anchal Jaiswal.
According to Singh, “By using AI to automate part of the dubbing processes, we hope to capitalize on the rising demand for localized content. Our end-to-end technology allows content owners and studios to receive results in weeks as opposed to months, expediting the completion of dubbing projects. Additionally, the actors’ voices are only used for a brief period of time, giving the dubbed version a more natural tone.
“We firmly believe that DubDub’s solution will become the standard in creating inclusive content in a scalable manner as video content continues to grow rapidly and become more prevalent among the pan-Indian user base. We are especially enthusiastic about the potential worldwide effect of their product because of the team’s passion for the issue and experience developing and promoting AI-based solutions” the Accel partner Subrata Mitra remarked.
