Cybersecurity Startup Beagle Security Becomes CERT-IN
A cyber security startup Beagle Security, established in Technopark with assistance from Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), has obtained recognition as a Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-IN) from the Indian Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
The nodal organization to handle threats to computer security like hacking and phishing is called CERT-IN. Beagle Security was established in 2020, making it one of the newest companies to complete the one-year process required for CERT-IN empanelment.
With this empanelment, the company is able to offer approved CERT-IN certification to businesses who are looking to provide services and solutions to the federal, state, and local governments, as well as public sector organizations and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), in order to meet RBI requirements.
Rejah Rehim who is the Director and Co-Founder of Beagle Security claimed that the company has so far been able to guarantee the cyber security of over 1,500 clients, ranging from small businesses to established tech startups.
“The CERT-IN empanelment is a significant step in our journey to become the ideal partner for Indian companies when it comes to security, which is a top priority in today’s digitally linked world ” he continued.
The startup currently serves the financial, SaaS (software as a service), education, healthcare, and e-commerce industries.
