AWS Adopts Polkadot Technology for 50 Global Tech Startups
AWS adopts Polkadot and has pledged $250,000 for 50 projects that want to develop on Polkadot. As part of this pledge, startups will have access to $5,000 in AWS credits that can be used with AWS Activate to help them grow and scale their companies with professional assistance. At the Polkadot Now India conference in Bangalore, the grant was disclosed.
The Polkadot Now India conference, which made its debut in the Indian ecosystem, was founded by Polkadot to inform the local blockchain and cryptocurrency community about its network and to fill the gap between Polkadot’s global environment and the Indian ecosystem. Mark Cachia, the founder of Scytale Ventures, Bill Laboon, the head of education and grants at the Web3 Foundation, Dr. Radhakrishna Dasari, the technical educational lead at the Web3 Foundation, and Gautam Dhameja, the director of solution delivery at Parity Technologies, all are spoke at the event.
In response to the news, Polkadot Now India spokesperson Rishant (Rish) Kumar, who is also the Growth Lead for APAC at KILT Protocol, said: This is a great testimonial to our successful partnership with AWS in enhancing the Indian Web3 ecosystem. This programme will create a doorway of potential for businesses to explore and speed up their journey by supplying the fundamental infrastructure needed to develop on Polkadot.
Launched in 2006, Amazon Web functions (AWS) started offering crucial infrastructure functions to companies as web services, which are now commonly referred to as cloud computing. All startups in the industry are eligible for the incentive, however teams who have previously won similar free credits are ineligible.
