Agritech Startup Expansion: Nutrifresh Collects $5M Funds

Nutrifresh, an agritech firm, announced on Tuesday that it has raised $5 million (Rs 38.8 crore) in funding for expansion and growth. Hydroponically grown, residue-free, and chemical-free vegetables are the company’s objective.

Nutrifresh was founded by Sanket Mehta and Ganesh Nikam.
From seed procurement to germination, nursery, harvesting, packaging, and finally delivery of the product to the end-user, the entire process is under control. Within 24 hours of harvest, the food reaches the consumer.
“Team Nutrifresh is dedicated to offering targeted hydroponic farming that is robust, tech-enabled, IOT-based, and produces consistent results,” added Mehta.
“With this round of funding, Nutrifresh aims to grow production capacity and standardise the manufacturing process, as well as extend farms with the appropriate SOPs to gain a competitive advantage,” he added.
