Google and Startup India Collaborate To Present Startup School 2023

The second version of Google India’s virtual program Startup School 2023, assists and empowers Indian companies. The program’s second season will debut on July 11. Startup School is an 8-week online course that Google and Startup India have created to give founders the tools and expertise they need to jumpstart their businesses.

Around 30 Google industry executives, influential figures from several sectors, prosperous business owners, and venture capitalists are present at Startup School. At the final stage of Startup School instruction, some chosen businesses will have the opportunity to participate in one-on-one mentorship sessions and networking events with India’s leading VCs.

Join us as we explore a variety of topics, including marketing, financing, AI, product and tech strategy, leadership, and much more, with a stellar lineup of Google experts and business titans. Not only that, but at the end of the programme, a few selected firms will also get access to one-on-one mentorship sessions and a networking event with leading VCs in India, according to the search engine giant.

The course curriculum will cover subjects including artificial intelligence, product and technology strategy, marketing and international business, funding, and leadership. The program’s target audience is 30,000 entrepreneurs, and it intends to give them the skills and information they need to develop ethically and pick up best practises at scale.

India started its startup journey with the vision laid out by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in January 2016 with the launch of the Startup India initiative”.

The Startup School 2023 schedule includes sessions led by well-known business experts. The use of data and the deployment of cloud services will be covered by Bikram Bedi, managing director of Google Cloud India. Aastha Grover, Vice President of Invest India and Head of Startup India at DPIIT, will talk about the government assistance schemes available to business owners.

Indmoney’s founder and CEO Ashish Kashyap will talk about product management for companies, while Kalaari Capital’s managing director Vani Kola will talk about leadership strategies for successful founders. Other speakers include Gayatri Yadav, Chief Marketing Officer of Peak XV Partners, Shuvi Shrivastava, Partner at Lightspeed, Ajey Gore, Operating Partner-Technology at PeakXV India & SEA, Nitin Kamath, Founder and CEO of Zerodha, Sanjeev Barnwal, Founder and CTO of Meesho, and Afsar Ahmad, Co-founder of Gameberry Labs.
