Rising Digital Entrepreneurs – Rural Internet Connectivity via Digital India

The expansion of internet access to rural areas through Digital India, has enhanced the number of digital entrepreneurs, stated Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the country in the 92nd episode of “Mann ki Baat.”

He claims that “Digital India has increased the number of digital businesses by bringing amenities that were previously available in metropolitan cities to remote regions.”

“It’s time for India’s techade. We are launching a revolution through Digital India to the grassroots level with 5G, semiconductor manufacturing, and optical fiber cable in villages “said Modi. Additionally, he supported technological advancements “Made in India”.

Modi acknowledged the startup revolution the nation had experienced over the previous few years, saying, “Today, we are seeing the Digital India initiative, startups flourishing in the country, and a lot of talent coming from tier II and tier III cities. It’s imperative that we have faith in our skills”.

On January 16, which is recognized as National Startup Day in India, Modi declared startups to be the “backbone” of the new India and the force behind the country’s economic expansion in the run-up to its 100th anniversary of independence.
