FB Co-Founders Firm Invests in Health-Tech Startup Mojocare
The Indian health-tech startup Mojocare is almost ready to close a $20 million series A investment sponsored by B Capital Group, the venture capital company founded by Eduardo Saverin and Raj Ganguly, co-founders of Facebook Inc.
Existing investors such as Better Capital, Chiratae Ventures, and Sequoia India are thinking about investing in the round. The Bangalore-based business intends to use the money to further diversify and extend its product line.
According to its website, Mojocare provides support to customers through an online platform that includes product sales, doctor consultations, and individualized treatment plans for concerns like weight loss, hair care, and reproductive health and fertility.
B Capital, which Saverin and Ganguly founded in 2015, supports entrepreneurs from seed funding to a potential initial public offering in an effort to help them grow and alter their industries. It has about 125 portfolio firms and around $6.5 billion in assets under management.
