Local services platform LocalRamu raises funding

Bangalore based local services platform LocalRamu has secured its second round of funding from existing investors and two new angel investors. The funds will be used to strengthen its service provider base in next one year.

Founded by Santosh Tyagi, LocalRamu is a mobile based aggregator for local service providers. With this app, users can get a list of service providers within one kilometre distance. As of now, they have 1100 service partners with two business models—B2B and B2C. The app doesn’t charge any visiting fee for services. Payments are made only after the users agree on the quoted price.
