Mohandas Pai Invests in Shopping App Scandid

TV Mohandas Pai, Chairman of Manipal Global Education Services and co-founder of Aarin Capital has invested an undisclosed amount in Pune-based shopping and savings discovery app Scandid The startup’s existing investors including smartphone maker Micromax and a few Silicon Valley-based investors also participated in the funding round.

The funds will be used to expand their resource, user acquisition, engagement and monetization in the next 6-9 months.
